It's an absolutely gorgeous day here in the Nutmeg State. (But sorry, it doesn't look quite like the picture above.) The sun is blazing, there is barely a cloud in the sky, and the temperature currently reads 52 degrees.
When the weather is favorable, everything else just seems to fall into place. I began the day bright and early with a run, Sammy had a fantastic six-month doctor's appointment (a second tooth was discovered!), we got to have a nice lunch in town with James, and a lengthy afternoon walk is a definite possibility.
While Sammy naps, I am currently sitting in our bedroom, which overlooks our patio and yard. (I even have the back door cracked open a bit!) Quite a bit of Saturday's snow has melted and I can't help but daydream about Spring flowers....
